A grand, richly maintained temple dedicated to Goddess Shantadurga, admired for its large sacred tank, deepastambha, and the well-planned temple campus that includes traditional halls and facilities for pilgrims. The setting at Kavalem gives it a peaceful “temple village” feel while still being easy to visit from central Goa.
