Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple and Heritage Village,Aranmula, on the banks of the Pamba River, is known for the Parthasarathy (Krishna as charioteer) Temple, traditional houses and the famous Aranmula Boat Race. The temple has a gold-plated flagstaff, murals and rich woodwork, while the village streets around it retain an old-world feel.
