Chandi Mandir.A prominent hill-foothill temple on the Chandigarh–Kalka highway dedicated to Goddess Chandi, a fierce form of Shakti. The complex lies within the Chandimandir Cantonment and includes the main shrine plus idols of other deities like Radha-Krishna, Hanuman, Shiva and Ram. Surrounded by greenery with the Shivalik hills as backdrop, it is especially crowded on Navratras and Durga Puja, when long queues of devotees come for darshan.

The temple is very old in local tradition and is considered so important that both Chandigarh city and Chandimandir Cantonment derive their name from it. In recent decades it has been brought under the management of the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, linking its administration and development with Mansa Devi. During Navratras tens of thousands of devotees visit; offerings and crowds at Chandi Mandir, along with Mansa Devi and Kali Mata (Kalka), are regularly reported in local news, underlining its continuing regional importance.
