Chandigarh Bird Park.A newer attraction close to Sukhna Lake, designed as a walk-through bird habitat with landscaped aviaries, water bodies and viewing paths. Visitors can see both indigenous and exotic birds in semi-natural enclosures and learn about conservation. It’s especially popular with children and families combining it with a Sukhna visit.

History & highlights
Developed in the 2020s by the Chandigarh administration on the lakefront, the park was part of efforts to add eco-friendly tourist experiences and reduce pressure on the lake promenade. The themed aviaries and interpretation areas were planned to meet Central Zoo Authority norms while fitting into Chandigarh’s “garden city” character. It has quickly become one of the city’s “new generation” attractions.
