Mahavir Mandir—close to Patna Junction—is among India’s busiest Hanuman temples, especially during Ram Navami and Hanuman Jayanti. Bihar Tourism and other records link its establishment to Swami Balanand (Ramanandi sect) around 1730, and a Patna High Court (1948) reference is often cited in discussions of its public religious character.
