Pacific Mall on Rajpur Road is Dehradun’s flagship shopping and entertainment hub. Located in the upscale Jakhan area with a backdrop of Mussoorie hills, it houses 200+ shopping brands, a large food court, cafés, a PVR cinema and gaming zones, making it the go-to indoor hangout for locals and tourists. The central atrium, glass façades and multi-level layout create a modern mall feel that contrasts with old Paltan Bazaar, giving visitors a “big city” retail experience in a hill-gateway town.

Pacific Mall is widely recognised as Dehradun’s first large organised mall, built on a three-acre site with a big frontage on the Dehradun–Mussoorie road. Architectural firms describe the project as a challenge because of a 17-metre level difference on the site, which was cleverly used for parking and the central atrium.
The mall opened to the public in August 2013, marking a turning point in Dehradun’s retail landscape and cementing Rajpur Road’s reputation as a premium commercial corridor. Since then, Pacific has become a lifestyle landmark—hosting events, seasonal décor and promotions—and is still referred to as the “Spirit of Dehradun” in some branding.
