Rajouri Town and Hill Shrines,A hilly town on the old Mughal road route between Jammu and the Pir Panjal passes. The area has forts, traditional villages and a mix of temples, mosques and gurdwaras reflecting its frontier character.

History & highlights
Rajouri has seen many rulers – local hill rajas, Mughals using the Mughal Road to Kashmir, later Sikh and Dogra powers. Its strategic location made it important in medieval and modern military movements, and it was a sensitive zone during 1947–48 and later conflicts. Today it is slowly opening to tourism focused on scenery and heritage.
