Rotary Dolls Museum

Rotary Dolls Museum

About this place

Rotary Dolls Museum is a unique, family-friendly museum where over 1,400–1,600 dolls from 100+ countries are displayed in themed showcases. Each doll is dressed in traditional costume, giving a colourful introduction to world cultures, festivals and lifestyles. Sections on Indian weddings, regional costumes and international customs make it especially engaging for children and school groups. The museum is managed by Rotary Club of Rajkot Midtown and has earned a place in the Limca Book of Records for its collection. Located on Yagnik Road/Jagnath Plot, it’s an easy, air-conditioned indoor attraction to add to any Rajkot city tour.

History & highlights

The museum’s concept was envisioned in 2001 by Rotarian Deepak Agrawal, who wanted to create an educational and entertaining space where children could “travel the world through dolls.” Rotary Clubs from many countries donated dolls, gradually building a large global collection. Rotary Dolls Museum is operated by Rotary Club of Rajkot Midtown with support from Rajkot Nagrik Sahakari Bank and is now recognized nationally for its distinctive theme and contribution to cultural education.
