Solang Valley, about 13–15 km from Manali on the road to Rohtang, is a broad alpine valley known for adventure sports and snow. In summer the meadows are green with horses, paragliding take-off points, zorbing and ropeways; in winter it turns into a skiing and snow-play zone with slopes, snow scooters and tube slides.
