Haidakhan Ashram

About this place

Haidakhan Ashram, often called Haidakhan Babaji Ashram or Hedakhan Ashram, lies in the hills above the Gaula/Gautami Ganga, reachable from the Haldwani side via Kaladhungi–Gaulapar road. It’s a serene complex with temple, ashram buildings, ghats and mountain views, where devotees of Haidakhan Babaji (Bhole Baba) come for meditation, aarti and sewa. The river flowing below, bells from the temple and the sight of snow peaks on clear days create a deeply spiritual environment, making it one of the most significant pilgrimage excursions associated with Haldwani. Many visitors combine trekking, river hikes and satsang, so the ashram is both a religious and nature-escape destination.
